Morfometría y marcadores geomorfológicos del abanico aluvial asociado a la Quebrada Campanas, Antioquia, Colombia

Abstract

The alluvial fan of the Campanas stream, whose current flows into the Arma river, has been considered a geomorphological marker of great interest, due to its morphology and the geological context of the area, suggests a genesis associated with the Arma river fault attributed to the active tectonics of the central mountain range. For this reason, an analysis was carried out by means of digital products such as orthophotography, 3D modeling and DEM generated by Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS) in order to obtain detailed results of both the morphometry of the fan and the geomorphological indices of the Campanas Creek sub-basin, which finally confirm the relationship between the formation of the fan and the tectonic activity.
