dc.description.abstractAbout the Special Issue Editors Manuel Rodr ́ıguez-D ́ıaz is Senior Lecturer of Marketing and a member of the University Institute of Tourism and Sustainable Development (TIDES), in the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. His research interests include distribution channels, tourism, online reputation, tourism destination, and logistic and supply chain management. He has published in journals such as the Journal of Travel Research, International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management, Applied Geography, Tourism Economics, Resources Policy, International Journal of Geographical Information Science, Sustainability, Administrative Sciences, Journal of Retailing and Consumer Service, and Business Process Management Journal. Tom ́as F. Espino-Rodr ́ıguez is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Business, Economics and Tourism at University of Las Palmas of Gran Canaria, Spain, where he lectures on hospitality and tourism operations. He was also a Visiting Researcher at the University of Strathclyde. His research focuses on outsourcing, supply chain, and operations management in the hospitality sector. His papers have been published in international academic journals such as the International Journal of Management Reviews, Tourism Management, International Journal of Hospitality Management, International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management, The Services Industries Journal, Industrial Management and Data Systems, Service Business, etc. and presented at numerous conferences around the world. He was awarded the Best Work Award presented at the 14th APAcHRIE conference 2016.
