La Anorexia Nerviosa se ha convertido en un problema frecuente dentro de la sociedad, sobretodo en la población adolescente, ya que esta resulta ser la población más vulnerable a ciertas influencias negativas del ambiente. El presente artículo es resultado de una exhaustiva investigación, basada en la revisión bibliográfica de artículos y libros; en él se exponen algunos de los factores de riesgo más comunes relacionados con la Anorexia Nerviosa, como la insatisfacción con la imagen corporal, rasgos de personalidad, factores biológicos, funcionamiento familiar y factores socioculturales. Se explicará esta problemática desde un acercamiento teórico de los diversos factores que intervienen en dicho trastorno, encontrando así que esta patología no suele presentarse de forma aislada y por lo tanto tiene un origen y mantenimiento multifactorial.
