dc.description.abstractObjetivo: evaluar el efecto de una intervención de enfermería sobre el proceso de convertirse en madre, durante la fase de consecución, práctica y recuperación física en mujeres en posparto con recién nacidos prematuros hospitalizados en UCIN en Boyacá. Metodología: se realizó un estudio cuantitativo, diseño cuasi experimental, con pre prueba y pos prueba con un grupo de comparación, en 208 mujeres primíparas y multíparas, que se estructuró a partir de la teoría de Convertirse en madre de Mercer; para la medición se utilizó la Clasificación de Resultados de Enfermería NOC.Resultados: la intervención de enfermería fue eficaz al el proceso de Convertirse en madre, lo que se evidencia en los distintos valores estadísticos. Adicionalmente, se evidenció que el haber tenido hijos previamente, no aporta de manera significativa a la nueva experiencia de adoptar el rol materno con recién nacido hospitalizado en UCIN. Conclusión: la aplicación de la intervención de enfermería tiene efecto significativo en el logro del desarrollo de la identidad materna y la unión o vínculo afectivo con el RN en el proceso de Convertirse en madre.
