dc.subjectTrade and use of Bitcoin cryptocurrency has contributed to proliferate the growth and development of a new market itself that is so modern and volatile it does not allow the creation of a global regulatory framework that legalizes for taxing it within the economies of the countries, this cryptocurrency market has differentiating advantages compared to traditional markets such as its ease of trading, little bureaucracy, 24/7 operations, and a wide variety of platforms to operate as well as options to invest. But despite of these remarkable differences, it was decided to do a correlation study with 2 hypotheses to estimate how correlated was the variation in the price (USD) of the Bitcoin cryptocurrency with the variation of the stock exchange indices of the main world stock markets and with the use of gold as a store of value during the first week of December 2017 using a correlation matrix in the fundamental analysis, and in the technical analysis it was decided to implement technical indicators of traditional markets such as the Bollinger Bands and the RSI during the same period of time to check its usefulness to forecast the trend of the quote (USD) of the Bitcoin cryptocurrency Finally, it is concluded that there was a great correlation with the stock indices during that period of time, damaging the stock market of China and Russia, making them create and disseminate speculative news to generate FUD in the cryptocurrency market and thus force the price decrease of Bitcoin cryptocurrency, in addition to the fact that the use of technical indicators used in this study are limited in practice for this market and its explanation is " Herd behavior"
