The present work of degree emerges as a need identified by the managers of the area of automation of the Universidad Autónoma de Occidente for the extension of knowledge implanted in its students on the movement of control and the variators of frequency. The project aims to perform the assembly and commissioning of a motion control system in the automatic laboratory of the Universidad Autónoma de Occidente, through the SINAMICS S120 kit acquired by it. The process of assembling and putting into operation a motion control system is composed of different phases. Which have been developed throughout the document in the following order: Planning, Conceptual Development, System Design and Test. In order to find a viable solution in terms of the structure of the system, we studied the assembly possibilities of the equipment, respecting its cooling process. In this way, different designs were made that would allow beams of the control system module, a didactic system, that would allow the user an interaction with their inputs and outputs. Finally, a structure composed mainly of recycled parts found in the automation laboratory was made, thus reducing implementation costs. On the other hand, different tests were carried out with the control module, validating the final delivery of a fully functional and reliable product that meets all the objectives set out mainly in this project
