dc.description.abstract | In recent years, research and development of different models or forms of antennas for body area networks or WBAN networks have increased. In recent history, medicine and telecommunications have become an important part of the evolution and improvement of quality. in the life of living beings. These systems allow wireless communication of low-power devices implemented in the human body, among which are Electrocardiography (ECG), Electromyography (EMG), Electroencephalography (EEG), temperature, among others. One of the biggest drawbacks to date is the failure to consider the power losses produced by the epidermal layers due to their composition, which means that the transmitted signal must have greater power to reach a distant receiver or the red present less range. and through various background information, simulations and validations, to be able to identify the optimal design of the WBAN antenna, taking into account the radio frequency band, size, gain, and biocompatible material. Through the background, several micro antenna designs were studied and validated, comparing certain parameters such as power, impedance, size, among others, to proceed to choose the designs that had the best characteristics and thus proceed to make variations. to obtain better results when transmitting the information. Through the process of making these variations, it was possible to show that another very essential parameter at the time of design was the material in which the design could be implemented, which should be based on the IEEE802.15.6 standard that regulates WBANs in living tissue. . After having analyzed all this information, the designs were carried out using the Matlab computational tool, where analyzes similar to those found in the background were carried out, and when comparing the results of these analyzes, it was decided which was the best design option extended in the fundamental parameters already mentioned.
