The recent experience of the Antiglobalization Movement appears to be an ideal situational context to study the relation between discourse analysis and power relations. The purpose of this article is to review some of the actions developed by this movement and to analyse them within the debate around symbolic resistance and production of narratives and discourse. To achieve this goal, this study examines, the origin and development of the Antiglobalization Movement, and propose some interpretations about the meaning of its communication strategies
