dc.descriptionLa Segunda Ley de Newton (SLN), es posiblemente la ley física más conocida; ella es presentada y aplicada desde los estudios de secundaria, los primeros años de la universidad, y en niveles más avanzados de algunas especialidades. Pero, dicha ley física es generalmente presentada corno una mera receta, eventualmente fundamentada con palabrería metafísica. Sin embargo, la segunda ley de Newton es una primera y magnífica oportunidad de presentar lo qué es una ley física, fundamentada en definiciones operacionales y en procesos experimentales, sin necesidad de recurrir a un lenguaje sofisticado ni a aparatos especializados. Aún en el nivel de secundaria puede ser presentada en forma experimental aceptable, esclareciendo conceptos que son decisivos en la visión de lo que constituye una cultura científica propia del hombre moderno.
dc.descriptionNewton's second law is perhaps the best known physical law; it is presented and applied from the high school, the first year of college, and at advanced levels of certain specialities. But that physical law is generally presented as a simple recipe, eventually substanciated with methaphysical talk. However the SNL is the first and great opportunity to present what is a physical law, based on operational definitions and experimental processes, without resorting to sophisticated language or specialized equipment. Even at the secondary level that law can be presented adequately in its experimental aspect, clarifying that are essential for the vision of what should be a scientific culture proper of modern man.
