Protocolo intrahospitalario de clasificación y alimentación enteral de pacientes hospitalizados en la clínica veterinaria CISVET, Bello – Antioquia

Abstract

La realización de un Sistema de Clasificación de Pacientes (SCP) está basado en la atención que los pacientes hospitalizados requieren dependiendo de su estadio de salud en base a los resultados obtenidos al momento de la realización del Triage, es decir, cuando el paciente ingresó a una consulta médica. La atención que requiere el paciente hospitalizado se cataloga en cuatro estadios diferentes: Atención prioritaria, Atención intermedia, Atención básica, Atención elemental. Cada uno de los estadios de atención al paciente serán distinguidos por los cuatro principales colores usados en el Manchester Triage System en su respectivo orden: Rojo, Naranja, Amarillo, Verde. De esta manera el médico, auxiliar, pasante y/o practicante sabrá cuales de sus pacientes requieren un cuidado importante al momento de llegar al área de hospitalización gracias al SCP. Por otra parte, una correcta alimentación durante la estancia del paciente en hospitalización ayudará favorablemente en su proceso de recuperación es por ello que los alimentos que consuma deben ser los indicados para conllevar la enfermedad con la cual están cursando, del mismo modo a los pacientes que por algún motivo se les implantó un tubo de alimentación se les debe asegurar una correcta dilución del alimento para evitar que se genere algún tipo de obstrucción que conlleve al daño del mismo.

The realization of a Patient Classification System (PCS) is based on the care that hospitalized patients affected from their health stage based on the results that occur at the time of Triage, that is, when the patient was admitted to a medical consultation. The attention required by the hospitalized patient is cataloged in four different stages: Priority care, Intermediate care, Basic care, Elementary care. Each of the stages of patient care will be distinguished by the four main colors used in the Manchester Triage System in their respective order: Red, Orange, Yellow, Green. In this way the doctor, assistant, intern and / or practitioner will know any of their patients who have important care when they arrive at the hospitalization area thanks to PCS. On the other hand, a correction of the feeding during the patient's stay in the hospitalization with favorable assistance in their recovery process is why the food they consume must be those indicated to carry the disease with which they are studying, in the same way For patients who for some reason had a feeding tube implanted, they must be guaranteed a correct correction of the feeding to avoid generating any type of obstruction that leads to the damage of the same.
