dc.descriptionLa Fiesta de la Vendimia se ha convertido en una de las celebraciones más importantes y de mayor trascendencia de la provincia de Mendoza (Argentina). A pesar de haber transcurrido ya más de 80 años desde su nacimiento, todavía son escasas las investigaciones académicas que existen sobre la misma. Se podría decir que hasta el momento la fiesta ha sido más bien vivida y disfrutada como espectáculo que estudiada y analizada como acontecimiento social y cultural. Las mujeres han desempeñado un papel central en los trabajos en los viñedos y también en cada uno de los festejos al terminar la cosecha. En esta oportunidad, se busca abordar la Fiesta de la Vendimia de la primera década, es decir, desde 1936 a 1946, a partir de los testimonios orales de las reinas y de documentos visuales para concluir que se trata de fuentes históricas documentales que guardan información valiosa para estudiar la fiesta más importante de los mendocinos.
dc.descriptionThe Harvest Fest has become one of the most important celebrations of the province of Mendoza (Argentina). In spite of having already passed more than 80 years since its birth, there is still a few academic research about it. It could say that so far the fest has been rather lived and enjoyed as a show that studied and analyzed as a social and cultural event. Women have played a central role in the work in the vineyards and also in each of the celebrations at the end of the harvest. This pages seek to analyze the Harvest Fest of the first decade (1936 -1946), from the oral testimonies of the queens and visual documents to conclude that these are historical documentary sources that keep valuable information to study the most important celebration of Mendoza.
