dc.description.abstractIn this photograph, coconut palms of various sizes and electricity poles and lines, flank the Western Main Road on both sides. To the north of this road is the village of Chagaramas. The mountain in the background is part of the Northern Range. To the east is the Diego Martin Valley, south is Port of Spain and to the immediately west is the western coast of Trinidad, British West Indies. The concrete posted bridge, near the centre of the photograph passes over a river.
