dc.description.abstractS. S. Hosein, aged 8l, proprietor of American Stores, was a trustee of the Anjumman Sunnat ul Jammat Association Inc (ASJA) one of the largest and oldest Islamic organizations. He donated seven lots of land to the ASJA for the promotion of Islamic activities. The interview is part of the research for the M.Phil, History thesis, The University of the West Indies, St. Augustine, "Muslim Women in Islamic Education institutions in Trinidad circa 1917 to post-l962"
