dc.description.abstractA picture of the Botanical Gardens in front of the Governor's Residence with it's well kept lawn and tropical plants, a lone man sits on a bench in the middle of the garden. When Trinidad and Tobago became a republic in 1976, this house was designated "The President's House", and became the residence of the President of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago.
