In this paper we show some results about the dynamics of a Boost converter when it is con- trolled by lateral PWM (Pulse Width Modulator) and ZAD (Zero Average Dynamics) strategy. Different nonlinear phenomena like bifurcations and chaos are reported when the parameters associated to the system are varied. Finally, chaos present in the converter is controlled using FPIC (Fixed Point Induced Control) and TDAS (Time-Delay Autosynchronization) techniques.
