| dc.description | Teniendo como objetivo estudiar sistemáticamente los cambios químicos, tanto cualitativos como cuantitativos, que por lo común tienen lugar en las fibras de la lana, los autores han sometido los métodos existentes a un examen crítico. Los probables errores y posibles modificaciones se adaptación a condiciones locales, están bajo examen.<br />
Los estudios se complementan con los datos obtenidos en este laboratorio y los resultados están siendo comparados con los dados a conocer por otros investigadores. Han sido presentados los pertinentes gráficos representando algunos estudios específicos. El estudio incluye la determinación de cistina en la lana atacada. La publicación también incluve comentarios de carácter general. | |
| dc.description | With an object in view to study systematically, both qualitative and quantitative, the Chemical changes which ordinarily take place in the wool fibres, the authors have subjected the existings methods to a critical examination. The probable errors and possible modifications adapting to the local conditions, are under examination.
The studies are being supplemented with the data obtained in this laboratory and the results are being compared with those reported by other workers. The relevant graphs representing some specific studies have been presented. The study ineludes the determination of cystine in the attacked wool.
