Diagnóstico del problema de congestión vehicular y peatonal en el intercambiador de El Condado, intersección Av. Mariscal Sucre, Av. De la Prensa y autopista Manuel Córdova Galarza.

Abstract

Se realizó los conteos vehiculares por cada giro existente en el Intercambiador, y conteos peatonales. Con los datos obtenidos de los aforos se determinó el Trafico Promedio Diario Anual (TPDA) actual que presenta cada giro y el número de peatones que circulan por el sitio en estudio, también se hizo la caracterización de las señales verticales y horizontales existentes en el intercambiador en estudio. Con los resultados que se obtuvo, se identificó que el gran problema es cuando los semáforos se encienden para que los peatones puedan movilizarse por los pasos peatonales existentes, también se hizo la caracterización de la señalización vertical y horizontal existente en el intercambiador en estudio. En el presente trabajo se plantea la posible solución para el bienestar de los conductores y peatones que diariamente circulan por el Intercambiador El Condado.
