Base para el diseño hidráulico de transiciones en flujo subcrítico y supercrítico.

Abstract

Se describe fundamentalmente los principales parámetros, fenómenos y características que se presentan en las estructuras hidráulicas denominadas Transiciones, así como también las bases del diseño hidráulico para la presencia del flujo subcrítico y supercrítico en estas estructuras. Se realiza una hoja de cálculo como apoyo para el diseño rápido y confiable de transiciones rectas, cilíndricas y alabeadas, con cambio de sección y de pendiente, desarrollando un manual de usuario para su correcta manipulación. Se aplica esta hoja de cálculo en ejemplos de transiciones teóricas y en transiciones existentes en el Proyecto de Riego Latacunga – Salcedo – Ambato, obteniendo resultados hidráulicos y geométricos satisfactorios de las transiciones, cumpliendo así con los objetivos de la investigación.

The main parameters, phenomena and characteristics that are shown in the hydraulic structures called Transitions are primarily described, as well as the bases of the hydraulic design to the presence of subcritical and supercritical flow into these structures. It was made a spreadsheet as support for fast and reliable design of transitions, straights, cylindrical and twisted with changes of section and slope, it is developed a user manual for proper handling. It is applied this spreadsheet in examples of theoretical transitions and existing transitions of the irrigation Project Latacunga - Salcedo – Ambato, were obtained satisfactory hydraulic and geometric results, so that the objectives of the investigation have been fulfilled.
