Abstract

Trabajo de postgrado sobre Neuropsicología Clínica y Rehabilitación Neuropsicológica. Medida, Procesos Cognitivos y Aptitudes, específicamente Evaluación Neuropsicològica y Dificultad de aprendizaje. El objetivo es facilitar el diagnóstico, reeducación y rehabilitación neuropsicológica de niños en etapa escolar. Tiempo largo para diagnostico, costos altos y retrasos en rehabilitación; ha motivado a probar que, una Batería de Evaluación Neuropsicológica Infantil Breve, puede optimizar tiempo de atención y por ende diagnóstico rápido del funcionamiento de procesos neuropsicológico. Se explica con el enfoque cognitivo conductual de Ardila y Portellano, basada en la conducta a través del cerebro; tratado en ocho capítulos: Neuropsicología del desarrollo infantil, desarrollo de la simetría cerebral, trastornos del desarrollo del SNC, trastornos neuropsicológicos del aprendizaje. Investigación teórico-descriptiva no experimental, con método inductivo. A una muestra de cien niños escolarizados de seis a doce años, cuyo cincuenta por ciento con dificultades cognitivas se ha evaluado procesos neuropsicológico; sus resultados han evidenciado sensibilidad de la batería a las dificultades cognitivas.
