Reflexiones éticas y estéticas a partir de "Agonía permanente"

Abstract

El presente trabajo aborda con una mirada crítica y mediante la expresión escultórica de corte figurativo, a cierta actitud humana respecto a la vida de otros seres. A través de él se pretende reflexionar y problematizar acerca de aquellas expresiones consideradas artísticas que involucran el sufrimiento y muerte de un ser vivo, como parte de un espectáculo que se pretende manifestación de nuestra cultura, avalado por un sector social que, por cálculo o intereses, lo llama arte ya sea a la guerra o a la tortura de un ser vivo. La obra escultórica “Agonía permanente” resume la posición crítica y la preocupación respecto a este espectáculo que, a pesar de lo sangriento, pretende mantenerse en nombre de la tradición y hasta de la cultura. Se ensaya también una mirada panorámica sobre los diversos sistemas y recursos de representación que aún posibilitan la circulación de ideas a través del objeto artístico, como el objeto escultórico, otorgándole la categoría de significante.

This paper encloses with a critical point of view and through the figurative sculptural expression, a certain human attitude towards life of other beings. Through it, the idea is to do a deep reasoning and to set a problem about those expressions considered artistic that involve the suffering and death of a living being, as part of a show that is intended to manifest our culture, supported by a social sector that, by calculation or interest, calls it art either related to war or to the torture of a living being. The sculpture “Permanente Agony” summarizes the critical position and the concern about this show that, despite the gore, intends to remain in the name of tradition and even culture. It is also tested a panoramic view of the various systems and resources of representation that still allow the transmission of ideas through the artistic object, as the sculptural object, giving it a category of significant.
