Estudio de prefactibilidad para la ruta turística Autoferro comprendida entre San Rafael e Ilumán, para el GAD (Gobierno Autónomo Descentralizado) de Otavalo

Abstract

La investigación trata de establecer si es viable implementar una Ruta Turística Autoferro en Otavalo con apoyo del GAD del cantón siendo este el regulador del proyecto, como medio de canalización de beneficios económicos a la población involucrada, inicialmente se hace referencia al estado actual de Otavalo y de la situación turística del mismo, así como de la existencia de poca oferta turística estructurada destacándose la importancia y la necesidad de crear nuevas rutas turísticas, posteriormente se realiza un análisis de mercado en el que se cuantifica la oferta y la demanda turística existente estableciendo la demanda insatisfecha y el perfil de turista que visita Otavalo, se presenta además el plan de marketing y la propuesta técnica y administrativa de funcionamiento de la ruta, finalmente se detallan las inversiones requeridas para llevar a cabo el proyecto, su financiamiento, los balances proyectados para los cinco años que comprenden el horizonte del proyecto, y la evaluación financiera respectiva, así como un breve impacto económico en la población involucrada.

The research seeks to establish whether it is feasible to implement a Autoferro Tourist Route in Otavalo with support from the canton GAD being the regulator of the project, as a means of channeling economic benefits to the people involved, initially referred to the state of Otavalo and of the tourism situation thereof, and of the existence of little structured tourism stressing the importance and the need to create new tourist routes, then performs a market analysis which quantifies the supply and demand setting the existing tourism unmet demand and the profile of tourists visiting Otavalo, is also presented the marketing plan and the proposed technical and administrative operation of the route, finally details the investments required to carry out the project, its financing, the projected balances the five years of the project include the horizon, and the respective financial evaluation, and a brief economic impact on the people involved.
