Prácticas artísticas de acción en el arte del Quito actual

Abstract

El presente trabajo de investigación trata acerca de las acciones en el arte de acción desde sus inicios experimentales en los años ’60 y ’70, la influencia del contexto histórico donde se generó este lenguaje artístico y ciertas definiciones que nos acercan a comprenderlo. El recorrido enfoca la evolución de este lenguaje desde aquellos tiempos hasta nuestros días; lo que implica una mirada desde Europa hasta la Ciudad de Quito.La metodología toma en cuenta dos fuentes: investigación bibliográfica y recopilación de datos en base a conversaciones con artistas locales.

The following research refers tothe definition ofaction art and performance, since their beginnings during the 60s and 70s,and the influence they had in the history where this artistic language was developed. Also, it tries to refer to the most concrete definitions that allow us to understand it.This historical journey focuses on the evolution of this language, from those times until today, which implies a historical view from Europe to Quito. The methodology of this research implies the gathering of information through bibliographical research and conversations with local artists.
