Arte, poder y horror

Abstract

El objetivo principal del presente trabajo, es exponer las estrategias del poder que recurren al horror y como este nos es presentado a través de propuestas estéticas. Con este fin, la obra aborda una serie selecta de posibilidades, mismas que el autor, consideró como ejes principales donde el poder es acumulado. El resultado que arroja la investigación empírica del artista, se mide en las reacciones del público espectador, al momento de mostrar la obra. Solo entonces y si la obra logra dialogar con el público como receptor, visto el mensaje individual de la obra, se sabrá si tuvo éxito.

The principal objective of this work, is to show how do might requires horror as strategy, and how this horror is presented to us as stetic propousals. With this task, the artwork pretends to capture some kinds of might as plastical posibilities for representation, choosen by the artist. The results of the artist investigations, may be messured by the public`s reaction, as the artwork is shown. Only then, and if the artwork reaches it´s individual purpouse, by talking with the one who watches,then it shall be known if the artwork was succesfull.
