Estudio de tráfico y de accesibilidad en las intersecciones América - La Gasca y La Gasca - Gaspar de Carvajal, de la Ciudad de Quito

Abstract

Se determinó el área de influencia de la zona en estudio, realizando un levantamiento topográfico, con el cual se determinó los elementos geométricos de las intersecciones, se realizó a continuación los conteos vehiculares para determinar posteriormente el Tráfico promedio diario anual (TPDA) y por consiguiente el volumen total de trafico existente en estas intersecciones. Conjuntamente se realizo el estudio de señalización vial para determinar el estado actual de la señalización de la zona. Se realizó el estudio de velocidades y tiempos semafóricos para con estos datos realizar una modelación vehicular mediante el software AIMSUN. Con los datos obtenidos se plantearon dos soluciones a los problemas de congestión presentes.

It determinated catchment of the study area, conducting and survey, which was determined with the geometric elements of the intersections and then performed to determine vehicle traffic counts, later the annual daily average traffic (ADAT) and therefore the total volume of existing traffic at these intersections. The study was conducted jointly with road marking for determine the current state of the signaling area. We performed a study of traffic light speeds and times, for these data and make a vehicle modeling using the software AIMSUN. The data obtained were raised to two solutions to the problems of congestion present.
