dc.description.abstractThis study aimed to characterize the academic profile of Physical Education professors working in Brazilian higher education in the sports training subarea. The methodology was descriptive research of academics CVs found at the Lattes Platform database, considering that we interpreted quantitative data based on qualitative analysis information. The results point to the gap between academic profile and the prevailing scientific production related to sports training.
