Many optimization techniques have been applied not just to reduce the effects of minor harmonics on resonant harmonic filters (RHF) but also to minimize the investment cost or to maximize the efficiency of RHF. This paper presents an optimization model with the goal of minimizing the effects of the minor harmonics on RHF considering the capacitor operational limits.
