Resumen
Understood as a social, cultural, historical and political construction of differences, diversity takes place among power relations and growth of inequalities that are increased nationally and internationally. In this context, different economic, political and theoretical alternatives and propositions have been unleashed in Brazil in an attempt to point out ways to work with diversity. Regarding schooling, Human Rights Education (HRE), a recent field of studies in education, is one of the alternative. The present bibliographic study aims to discuss human diversity under the prism of human rights education, taking into account the dialectic relationship between equality and difference, as well as the relationship between diversity, culture and language.
