Abstract
In the disciplines of Rhythmic and Expressive Activities and Dance, Physical Education college students experience rhythmic and expressive games, as well as exercises in sensibilization, musicalization, and creative practice in dance. This article maps the ways we ascribe value to those intensive practices when evaluating those disciplines, knowing that such practices do not allow themselves to be easily evaluated by quantitative measures. The exercises included: collective works, tutoring in dance, creative processes, staging and artistic performances. Through appreciation of diaries to record those experiences, our evaluative approach focused on the intensities that cross those practices, thus opening a discussion about the effects of those intensities in academic training.
