Ecos de Euclides: notas sobre a influência d Os Elementos a partir de algumas doutrinas filosóficas

Abstract

Based on the study of some philosophical schools – such as the Cartesian Racionalism, the Empiricism of Hume and Kant’s Criticism – and of some brief remarks on Mathematics in ancient world – particularly the greek Mathematics – this paper intends to understand how the euclidean ideas have been taken for a long time as a model of how to geometrize and of what Mathematics is.

A partir do estudo de algumas escolas filosóficas – nomeadamente o Racionalismo de Descartes, o Empirismo de Hume e o Criticismo de Kant – e de breves considerações sobre o mundo e a matemática gregas, este artigo pretende argumentar sobre a permanência de Euclides como modelo de geometrização e apreensão da Matemática.
