Infección por virus de hepatitis B, C y Epstein Barr en un paciente con cirrosis y linfoma

Abstract

Etiológicamente, es bien conocida la relación entre cirrosis e ingesta de alcohol, VHB y VHC. La sinergia de estos factores condiciona la aparición más temprana y menor supervivencia a la enfermedad. Diversos estudios han relacionado el linfoma con el virus de Epstein Barr, presente en el 40% de los casos con linfoma de Hodgkin.

Etiologically, it is well known the relationship between cirrhosis and alcohol intake, HBV and HCV. The synergy of these factors determines the earlier onset and shorter survival with the disease. Several studies have linked lymphoma with the Epstein Barr virus, present in 40% of patients with Hodgkin lymphoma.
