dc.description.abstractPresently, in Brazil, among several other in vitro propagation techniques, micropropagation has increased in scientific and economic interest for forestry . Actually, is the most used technique, due its proven practical applications. The first studies were carried out in the 50's; tissue culture laboratories were established during 1970-1980. This article is a review and a synthesis of information on micropropagation applications in Eucalyptus clonal silviculture in Brazil.
