Institutos seculares, uma nova forma de ser igreja, hoje

Abstract

"Os Institutos Seculares, nova forma de ser Igreja, hoje" é uma dissertação de Mestrado, Área de Teologia Sistemática, cuja pesquisa pretende explicar a problemática de que não há antagonismo em integrar consagração e secularidade as quais caracterizam a vocação dos Institutos Seculares. Este estudo busca elementos teóricos que possibilitem a compreensão dessa realidade eclesial. Portanto, a presente pesquisa não pode partir de estilo de vida consagrada já existente. Os Institutos Seculares se encontram em todos os Continentes. Entretanto, apesar de terem sido reconhecidos pela Igreja, através da Constituição Apostólica Provida Mater Ecclesia de Pio XII, ainda são bastante desconhecidos ou, não aceitos por muitos, que não compreendem a consagração secular e a urgência de respostas da Igreja ao mundo secularizado.

“The Secular Institutions, a new way to see the Church today” is a Masters dissertation, on the Systematic Theology Area, that has as an objective to explain the following problem: it poses that there is no dichotomy in the integration of the consecration and secularity that are the features of a vocation of the Secular Institutes. Thus, the present research cannot be originated by a life style that alredy exist. The Secular Institutes are spread all over the Continents. Although they have been accepted by the Church, through the Pio XII’s Apostolic Provida Mater Ecclesia Constitution, they are still not known sufficiently or they are not accepted by many people who do not understand the secular consecration and the urgent questions given by the Church to the secular world.
