Secularização, matrimônio e família no ensinamento de João Paulo II e José Kentenich

Abstract

Através de uma análise de conjuntura do matrimônio e da família constata-se que estas instituições sofreram e sofrem muitos ataques através do processo de secularização. A ideologia de gênero se abate de modo especial sobre estas instituições. Na perspectiva do ensinamento de João Paulo II e na obra de José Kentenich apresenta-se uma visão cristã do homem e da mulher no matrimônio e na família. É no sacramento do matrimônio que o amor entre um homem e uma mulher encontra sua plena realização para a edificação da família. Inspirando-se na Família de Nazaré, participando da Eucaristia, em diálogo fecundo e permanente, estas instituições constroem a Igreja doméstica e a Civilização do Amor. Matrimônio e família estão intimamente unidos com a Civilização do Amor. Se a primeira via da Igreja é a família, a Civilização do Amor é a via da Igreja.

This study has aimed at analyzing the situation of marrige and family in view of the strong process of secularization that these institutions have been undergoing. The ideology of gender has especially hit these two institutions very hard. The Magistery of Pope John Paul II and the Joseph Kentenich’s work point to the christian view of the roles of man and woman in matrimony and family: it is in the sacrament of matrimony that love between a man and a woman is fully accomplished, regarding the building up of the family. Under the inspiration of the Family of Nazareth, by fruitful and permanent dialogue, these institutions make up the domestic church and the Civilization of Love. If the ground of the Church is the family, then the Civilization of Love is the ground of the Church.
