| dc.description | RESUMEN: En tiempos remotos, el gas fue un hidrocarburo de irrelevante importancia para Venezuela, al extremo de ser
considerado casi un estorbo para los petroleros de la industrial nacional, hoy en día, este recurso ha tomado auge
ya que el área ubicada en la zona de Paria ha reactivado el ánimo por desarrollar este factor energético a través de
alianzas estratégicas con el capital privado e internacional. El objetivo fundamental de esta investigación consistió
fundamentalmente en analizar las posibles incidencias socioeconómicas que pudiera tener el Complejo Gasífero
Mariscal Sucre en el Municipio Mariño – estado Sucre, utilizando una metodología de carácter descriptivo y una
combinación de estrategia documental y de campo; aplicando un muestreo de tipo intencional y seleccionando
elementos con base a criterios de los investigadores. De acuerdo a los resultados, se pudo determinar que el Golfo
de Paria, requerirá de una mayor y mejor asistencia social (medico, educativo, etc.) y apoyo técnico para mejorar
sus habilidades de trabajo y condiciones de vida. Las incidencias del complejo prometen ser positivas, cambiando
significativamente la situación actual del municipio. Dejará de ser una comunidad pesquera y se convertirá en una
población con un acelerado crecimiento económico, producto de las actividades petroleras y operaciones conexas. ABSTRACT: Several years ago, gas was a hydrocarbon of irrelevant importance for Venezuela, to the extent that it was
considered a waste for the national petroleum industry. Today, this resource has taken great importance, since
the area located in Paria has reactivated the intention to develop this energy factor, through strategic alliances
with private and international investment. This paper was oriented towards determining the possible social and
economic impact that this complex could cause in the Municipality of Mariño - Sucre State. The method used was
descriptive with a combination of documentary analysis and field work. Non-probabilistic intentional sampling
was applied, selecting elements based on the criteria of the researchers. According to the results, it was possible
to determine that the Gulf of Paria will need more and better social assistance (medical, educational, etc.) and
technical support to increase the skills at work and life condition. The impact of the complex over the municipality
in study promised to be positive; changing significantly, the current situation of the municipality. It will stop being
a craft fishing community to become a population with a great economic growth, as a consequence of the oil
activities and connected operations which will be developing in the area. | |
