Las significaciones culturales de la imagen del diablo del carnaval de Riosucio

Abstract

This work approaches to Devil imagen in the Riosucio Carnival in terms of its social and cultural dimension, starting since prehispanic age to the present time, in order to understand some cultural meanings of this devil imagen in the Riosucio population’s minds and link it up with its social concepts which are currently developed, such as miscegenation, hybridization, cultural History and Anthopological image, to understand why this image comes back and resignify over time in the Caldas Departament.
