Resumen
The investigation was realized in Bio-Sistema Center of the Fundación Universidad of Bogota Jorge Tadeo Lozano University in order to evaluate the effect of the fungicides dimetomorph and metalaxyl, as well as the insecticides methomyl and thiocyclam on the formation, number, diameter, biomass and percentage of moisture of the red clover nodules (Trifolium pratense) from Santa Sofia (Boyacá), Colombia. For this purpose, the clover seeds were inoculated with Rhizobium spp isolated from the study area; after germination, the five treatments employees were: control (T0), dimetomorf (T1), metalaxyl (T2), methomyl (T3), thiocyclam (T4) and mixture (T5) of fungicides and insecticides previously appointed. The first application of the pesticides was at 80 days since it was delayed in germinating the seeds then at 97, 104 and 111, with the recommended doses, at 134 days the nodules were removed from the root systems for their corresponding measurements. The results showed that there were significant differences in the following variables: diameter of the nodules the greatest value was in T3, for the dry weight of the nodules the one that reached the highest value was T5; for the fresh weight of the nodules the highest value was in T5 and T3, for the percentage of moisture in the nodules the greatest result was with T2 and for the dry weight of the nodule was T3. The minor results in the previous variables were obtained in T4. No significant differences were found in the variable formation of the nodules in the different treatments with respect to the control. which concludes that the pesticides applied in the area do not affect the Clover's nodulation, even though the other variables may be affected
