Abstract

The linear park project on the San Pablo creek in the municipality of Istmina in the department of Chocó, seeks to improve the conditions of the commerce neighborhood, which is in the middle due to the invasion of public space. The San Pablo ravine presents a high rate of contamination due to the activities of merchants and street vendors. The recovery of the entire area of the department is essential to improve the living conditions of people in regions as far away as Itsmina. The project focuses on giving the community a space with which it was identified. The idea is also to create a public space in which the culture of the municipality is represented, not only at the level of festivals, but also the memory of their ancestors, who were slaves who could be freed from slavery and get there, through the park evokes ancestral hairstyles. The BRAZIL has a very peculiar history, in times past the raizales women reflected in their hairstyles the routes of escape that lead to the different municipalities and corregimientos of the department. The intervention in this area responds to problematic questions that deserve different answers. For example, the intervention is divided into three stages, the first an already consolidated hotel zone, but with several problematic zones; the second a cultural / recreational area with other areas for leisure, sports activities, covered areas and recreational or contemplation spaces; the third a commercial zone with the types of premises, those that respond to the needs of its inhabitants, a market square and a linear park auction with collective equipment.
