dc.descriptionEl presente trabajo estudia las generalidades del desarrollo y funcionamiento de las mucuposadas como tendencia de equipamiento receptivo dentro del sistema de alojamiento turístico nacional e internacionalmente. A partir de un diseño de investigación documental se encontró que gracias a las normas y regulaciones prioritarias, en cuanto al uso de energía, manejo de desechos sólidos y aguas servidas, las mucuposadas en la actividad turística favorecen el crecimiento económico de los pobladores de las diferentes zonas, y resaltan la sostenibilidad de su patrimonio cultural e histórico con la participación activa de las comunidades organizadas. Se evidencia coherencia entre la actividad turística y la preservación del medio ambiente, particularmente mejorando la calidad de vida de los habitantes relacionados con las áreas culturales y con las áreas ecológicamente protegidas. Estas experiencias deben ser duplicadas en otras regiones y países interesados en el turismo sustentable donde podrían involucrarse las instituciones educativas.

dc.descriptionThis paper studies the generalities of the development and operation of the mucuposadas as a lodging facility trend within the tourist accommodation system at national and international levels. Starting from a documentary research design, it was found that thanks to priority norms and regulations regarding the use of energy, solid waste management, and wastewater treatment, the mucuposadas within the tourist sector improve the economic and social well-being of the residents from the different areas, enhancing the sustainability of their cultural and historical heritage through active participation of organized communities. Consistency between the tourist activity and the preservation of the environment is evidenced, particularly in terms of the living standards of inhabitants in culturally and environmentally protected areas. These experiences should be replicated in other regions and countries interested in sustainable tourism where educational institutions may be involved.
