dc.descriptionEn la actualidad, se hace necesario pensar sobre los cambios y transformaciones que las universidades deben plantearse para mejorar su proceso educativo. Dentro de estos cambios, la evaluación de los aprendizajes es uno de los aspectos que requiere de profundas modificaciones por cuanto es ejercida por los docentes, a través de pruebas, como único elemento que mide la información que recibe el estudiante. Se realizó un diagnóstico para determinar las prácticas evaluativas vigentes utilizadas por el docente para realizar el proceso de evaluación. La muestra estuvo conformada por 211 profesores de las diferentes facultades de la Universidad de los Andes, utilizándose para la recolección de la información un cuestionario. Derivados del diagnóstico, se generaron algunos constructos que sirvieron de soporte para presentar una nueva visión y orientación del proceso de evaluación, formador y transformador, que sirva de apoyo al docente y al estudiante para el desarrollo de competencias, en función de un aprendizaje significativo.

dc.descriptionAt the present time, it becomes necessary to think on the changes and transformations that the universities should think about to improve their educational process. Inside these changes, the evaluation of the learnings is one of the aspects that requires of deep modifi cations since it is exercised by the educational ones, through tests, as only element that measures the information that the student receives. He/she was carried out a diagnosis to determine the effective practical evaluativas used by the educational one to carry out the evaluation process. The sample was conformed by 211 professors of the different abilities of the University of Andes, using stops the gathering of the information a questionnaire. Derived of the diagnosis, some constructos was generated that served of support to present a new vision and orientation of the evaluation process, formador and transformer that it serves from support to the educational one and the student for the development of competitions, in function of a significant learning.
