Humanos e animais e mesmo os artefatos tecnológicos são, simultaneamente, mediadores, produtos e produtores dos espaços que compartilham. Apesar de toda diversidade sociocultural, não existem ocupações humanas nas quais animais, objetos e espaços estejam ausentes. Alguns desses fatores podem ser desconsiderados a partir de estratégias metodológicas, mas a proposta aqui é justamente pensá-los como dimensões indissociadas de um mesmo fenômeno. O objetivo desse texto é explorar e contribuir com as discussões que propõem estratégias de reflexões sobre as relações entre humanos e macacos-prego em contextos socioculturais distintos e urbanos. Nesse caso, serão apresentados resultados obtidos principalmente a partir de fontes jornalísticas que enfocaram a presença de macacos-prego no  município de Maringá - PR, com o intuito de avaliar o potencial analítico da incorporação de perspectivas que considerem a análise das relações entre animais, humanos e espaços na constituição da diversidade das paisagens.Palavras-chave: Relações humanos-primatas. Despite all the sociocultural diversity, there no human occupations in which animals are absent. Thus, while the Cartesian model of animal-machine relation suggests the reifying or, at least, the restriction of animal condition to its functionality or utility for humans; the relational or synthetic models suggest possibilities that diverge from the contrast presented by certain modern dualisms. The goal of this article is to provide a space for discussion about the relations between humans and Capuchin monkeys in urban areas of Maringá city, A medium-sized city of Northwest Paraná, Brazil. Despite their human habitants be proud of living in a city known as the “Green City”, there are many levels of conflict with wild animals that live in some parks. Monkeys that live in these parks establish different types of relations with humans inside and outside their home places depending on each context, but conflicts are common when the monkeys don’t obey the human frontiers.Keywords: Human-animal relations.
