| dc.description | En el Derecho venezolano, el ambiente tiene el rango de bien jurídico
en sí, cuya protección jurídica deriva de la propia Constitución de 1999,
al calificarlo como Derecho Humano (Capítulo IX, Título III). De allí que
este Derecho, debe garantizarse a cada generación bajo la caracterización
de ambiente seguro, sano, ecológicamente equilibrado. El carácter de bien
jurídico constitucional, genera en Venezuela significativas posibilidades
para la protección ambiental, posibilidades éstas que deben materializarse
integralmente, como producto de las políticas ambientales que implemente
el Estado y, en caso contrario, como respuesta de las exigencias ciudadanas
en defensa de su Derecho Humano a un ambiente que le garantice una
óptima calidad de vida a todas las personas. | |

| dc.description | In Venezuelan law, the environment already has the status of juridical
goods, whose legal protection derives from the Constitution of 1999, qualifying
it as a Human Right (Chapter IX, Title III). Therefore, this right must be
guaranteed to each generation in the form of a safe, healthy, and ecologically
balanced environment. The character of the constitutional juridical goods
generates significant possibilities in Venezuela for environmental protection.
These possibilities must be materialized integrally as a result of environmental
policies implemented by the state, and otherwise, as an answer to the citizens
demand in defense of their Human Right to an environment that will ensure
a good quality of life for all people. | |
