dc.descriptionLa presente investigación pretende un acercamiento a las formas de aparición de los cuerpos (especialmente femeninos), en la segunda novela de la venezolana Michaelle Ascencio: Mundo, demonio y carne (2005). Se apreciará cómo las regulaciones corporales dan cuenta de la dinámica entre la construcción de las subjetividades y las conductas sociales. En este sentido, el confl icto con el orden no deviene desnudo ni contemplación del propio cuerpo desvestido; pero el estar, pertenecer, sentirse de un lugar, esto es, la representación del arraigo y, en concomitancia, la confi guración del yo están estrechamente asociados con lo que llevan puesto y dejan ver los personajes (bien de forma voluntaria o como limitación expresa). En consecuencia, el cuerpo vestido sugiere la tensión entre la aceptación o la transgresión de las normas correspondientes al orden imperante. dc.descriptionThe present research seeks for an approximation of the different ways bodies are shown (specially f ema l e bodi e s ) in the s e cond nove l of the Venezuelan author Michaelle Ascencio: Mundo, demonio y carne (2005). Corporal regulations that refl ect the dynamics between the construction of the subjectivities and the social behavior will be described. In this sense, the confl ict with the order does not result as nude or contemplation of the undressed female body, but as being, pertaining, feeling you belong somewhere. This means that the representation of roots and consequently the confi guration of the self are closely associated with what the characters wear or what they show (voluntarily or with certain limitations). Therefore, the dressed body suggests the tension between the acceptance and transgression of the norms that correspond to the prevailing order.
