dc.descriptionAlthough it exists in the tango a quite big production composed by afro-descendants, it is symptomatic that nowhere in that production the subject of "blackness" is treated. Consequently, all the tango pieces, which express some link with the Afro-argentine, correspond to white composers. I like analyse three issues linked to the presence of the blackness in the tango and similar genres: 1) The view of them that had the white people, that is to say, the dominant group; 2) Whether that view match the ideas coming from the academy and the common sense about the black Argentineans, and 3) Considering that the white composers should have taken original musical formulas in order to make the public link their music with the blackness, it is possible that they have taken ancestral black music for their composition. Thus, compared their music with historic and ethnographic documents, it could show up musical traces fittingly black.en-US
dc.descriptionAinda que no tango há uma importante produção de autores afrodescendentes, é sintomático que a negritude não seja considerada. Em conseqüência, todas as obras tangueiras que expressam relações com o afroargentino pertencem a autores brancos. Procuro analisar três questões relativas à presença do negro no tango e em outros gêneros afins: 1) O olhar que os brancos, isto é, o grupo dominante, tinham sobre eles; 2) Se esse olhar tem relação com as idéias da academia e do senso comum sobre os negros argentinos; e 3) Considerando que os compositores brancos tiveram que apelar fórmulas musicais originais para que o público vincule suas obras com a negritude, é possível que para sua composição tenham apelado à música negra ancestral, portanto, comparadas suas obras com fontes históricas e etnográficas, poderiam aparecer rasgos musicais propriamente negros.pt-BR
