| dc.description | The objective of this research is to analyze the development of the towns from the southwest of Paraná, aiming specially to rate a development index, verifying the determiners factors of this development and to put in a hierarchical order the specific towns, according to developmental levels. The results showed that the average development index, on a scale of 1 to 100, stayed in 34,29, resulting in a total of 16 towns (43,24%) above this value and 21 towns (56,76%) below this index. According to the development degree, the order evidenced that more than half of the towns are found in a low level of development, suggesting that something must be done in a way of minimize the effects generated by the aspects which should be worked in a more intense way in order to improve the life of the people and therefore the situation of the towns. | en-US |
| dc.description | Este trabalho tem por objetivo analisar o desenvolvimento dos municípios da região sudoeste paranaense, pretendendo-se especificamente aferir um índice de desenvolvimento, verificar os fatores determinantes desse desenvolvimento e hierarquizar os municípios, segundo o nível desenvolvimento. Os resultados mostraram que, numa escala de zero a 100, o índice médio de desenvolvimento situou-se em 34,29, resultando num total de 16 municípios (43,24%) acima deste valor e 21 municípios (56,76%) abaixo deste índice. A ordenação de acordo com o grau de desenvolvimento evidenciou que mais da metade dos municípios se encontra no nível baixo de desenvolvimento, sugerindo a necessidade de medidas no sentido de minimizar os efeitos gerados pelos aspectos que devem ser trabalhados de forma mais intensa, para melhorar a vida das pessoas e, por conseguinte, a situação dos municípios. | pt-BR |
