| dc.description | Este trabalho tem por objetivo analisar os pontos pelos quais os livros que sugerem atividades "práticas" em recreação ancoram-se para justificar determinados procedimentos e referendar determinadas práticas acadêmicas como sendo verdadeiras. Para isso, foram analisadas vinte e duas obras que tratam sobre recreação infantil. As estratégias utilizadas pela literatura de experimentação para constituir a verdade sobre a disciplina de Recreação estão vinculadas a uma separação nítida entre teoria e a prática, como realidades opostas, o reforço da heteronomia da criança e a simplificação da realidade a seus aspectos superficiais.
