| dc.description | This study deals with the Delphi Technique, which is one of the socalled Specialist Methods, as a method of research in Information Science. It explains the special features of the technique and presents the advantages and disadvantages of the use of the method, its characteristics, terminology and steps. The research also deals with the ways in which Delphi can be outlined, suggesting the Policy Delphi as the most suitable to be used in this field. The study comments on the instrument used to collect data – the questionnaire, and clarifies some questions regarding the group of experts that constitute the subjects of the research. It concludes illustrating the use of the Delphi Technique in Information Sciences and suggesting that it be used as an alternative research method in this field. | en-US |
| dc.description | Este artigo discorre sobre a técnica Delphi, que se inclui dentro dos chamados Métodos Especialistas, como método de pesquisa na Ciência da Informação, explanando as particularidades da técnica. Apresenta-se as vantagens e desvantagens do uso do método, suas características, terminologia e etapas, também abordando as formas que o Delphi pode ser configurado, sugerindo o Delphi de Políticas como o mais adequado à área. Comenta-se ainda sobre o instrumento de coleta de dados característico – o questionário. O estudo também esclarece questões sobre o painel de especialistas que compõem os sujeitos da pesquisa, e conclui ilustrando a aplicação da técnica Delphi na Ciência da Informação e sugerindo-a como método de investigação alternativo para a área. | pt-BR |
