dc.descriptionEl artículo presenta la construcción de las relaciones de cooperación entre la Comunidad Andina (CAN) y la Unión Europea (UE) como un proceso configurado por las acciones externas de cada bloque regional y de acuerdo a tres interrogantes: cómo surgen las relaciones CAN-UE, quiénes son sus protagonistas y cuál es su sentido. Con base en la trayectoria de las relaciones CAN-UE el autor presenta una definición del interregionalismo y algunas de sus características.

dc.descriptionThe article presents the construction of relationships cooperation between the Andean Community (CAN) and the European Union (EU) as a process shaped by the external actions of each regional bloc and according to three questions: how CAN-EU relationships arise, who are theirs protagonists and what is its meaning. Based on the trajectory of the CAN-EU relationships the author advances a definition of interregionalism and some ideas about its characteristics.
