En este trabajo nos proponemos analizar dos instituciones del Estado Venezolano, en este caso la editorial Biblioteca Ayacucho y el canal de televisión Telesur, las cuales han activado mecanismos de difusión, encuentro y participación para fortalecer el proceso de integración cultural latinoamericana. Asimismo, estas instituciones prestan especial interés hacia la cultura brasileña, estableciéndose de este modo, un encuentro, un contacto, un acercamiento con la cultura y el pueblo brasileño tan cercanos y a la vez tan desconocidos por los hispanoamericanos.287-311udermi@hotmail.comjoel1974ve@yahoo.comtrimestralIn this paper the intent is to research two institutions in the State of Venezuela: the Ayacucho Library and the Telesur television network, both of which have set up broadcasting systems. Cultural events are programmed in order to increment participation and thereby facilitate the process of integrating Latin American culture. These institutions have a particular interest in Brazil and have accordingly set up programs to introduce the Venezuelan public to this neighbouring culture which In spite of close geographical proximity remains unfamiliar to most Hispanics.
