| dc.description | El presente artículo pretende estudiar el tratamiento del cuerpo propio y la materialidad que lo sostiene como elemento caracterizador en gran parte de la poesía escrita por mujeres. El estudio se enfoca en desglosar las diversas manifestaciones del cuerpo propio en la obra poética escogida de tres autoras venezolanas, particularmente en textos publicados durante la década de los ochenta. Las poetas que conforman el corpus son: Hanni Ossott, Yolanda Pantin y María Auxiliadora Álvarez. El cuerpo propio se aborda, fundamentalmente, a partir de los postulados teóricos desarrollados por Maurice Merleau-Ponty. Finalmente, se concluye que en la poesía de estas autoras, la noción de sujeto tradicional se recontextualiza y se redimensiona, actuando como espacio de autodefi nición del sujeto femenino. A partir de lo anterior se aspira establecer que la poética femenina posee rasgos que replantean las huellas de la subjetividad, del lugar y de la experiencia como determinantes del discurso. | |

| dc.description | The present article proposes to study the treatment of the body itself and the material element that sustains it as a predominently characteristic feature of the poetry written by women. The study focuses on the task of selecting the diverse manifestations of the body itself in the selected poetic works of three Venezuelan women writers , in particular those works published by the authors during the eighties. The poets in this study are: Hanni Ossott, Yolanda Pantin and Maria Auxiliadora Alvarez. The analysis of the body itself is based on the theories postulated by Merleau-Ponty. Finally, my conclusions indicate that in the poetry of these authors, in respect of the body itself, the traditional notion of the subject is recontextualized and repositioned , and acts as a space for self defi nition of the female subject. Based on the above, I hope to show that poetry written by women has characteristics which reconfi gure the features of subjectivity, space and experience as determinants of discourse. | |
