dc.descriptionLas actuales relaciones diplomáticas entre Venezuela y Brasil se tornan determinantes a partir de 2003, durante las administraciones de los presidentes Ignacio Lula da Silva y Hugo Chávez Frías, estableciendo un cambio drástico de orientación hacia Sur América, rompiendo así con el tradicional vinculo de subordinación hacia el Norte -principalmente los Estados Unidos-. En este acercamiento Venezuela, ofrece su potencial energético y ventajosa posición geográfica frente al Caribe, mientras Brasil, sus inmensas dimensiones espaciales y su indiscutible potencial industrial. Estas condiciones favorables y de carácter excepcional se encuentran dirigidas por la voluntad política de los sectores gubernamentales, ganados a fortalecer el acercamiento. Asimismo, la toma creciente de decisiones económicas acordadas por las principales compañías estatales de petróleo: la venezolana (PDVSA) y la del Brasil (PETROBRAS), contribuyen a la creación de vínculos sólidos y perdurables. También, en el plano económico se abren más las posibilidades de participación de sectores de ambos países, impulsadas por los empresarios y los comerciantes, de allí que el relanzamiento de las relaciones a un nivel “geoestrategico privilegiado” sea de vital importancia para la ampliación y el fortalecimiento del Mercado Común Sudamericano, mostrando un punto de inflexión política continental hacia la integración. El proceso se viene operando como una respuesta apropiada regional frente al fenómeno de la globalización dominante. Sin embargo, se encuentran presentes las particularidades y los objetivos nacionales propios de cada país, los cuales pueden dañar la integración, cuando el gobierno bolivariano de Venezuela busca la imposición ideológica.

dc.descriptionThe current diplomat relationships between Venezuela and Brazil , became decisive starting from 2003, during the administrations of the presidents Ignacio Lula da Silva and Hugo Chávez, establishing a drastic change of orientation toward South America, breaking up this way with the traditional links of subordination toward the North - mainly the United States -. In this approach Venezuela, offers its potential geographical energy and advantageous position in front of the caribeean, while Brazil, its immense spacial dimensions and its unquestionable industrial potential. These favorable conditions and of exceptional character are directed by the political will of the government sectors, who are eager to strengthen the approach. Also, the economic decisions agreed by the main state companies of petroleum: the Venezuelan (PDVSA) and that of Brazil (PETROBRAS), contribute to the creation of solid and lasting bonds. Also, in the economic plan they open up more the possibilities of participation of sectors of both countries, impelled by the managers and the merchants. That relationships at a privileged geoestrategic level ” shows up of vital importance for the amplification and the invigoration of the Common South American Market, showing a point of continental political inflection toward integration. The process is operating as an appropriate regional answer to face the phenomenon of the dominant globalization. However, there are the particularities and the national objectives of each country, which could damage the integration, when the bolivarian government from Venezuela looks for and ideological imposition.
